I was catching up with a few parents who are on the other side of recruiting now with their kids more or less decided on their colleges.
They all said the same thing:
We wished we spent more time actually going to see schools in person and school-run camps a lot earlier.
In a word: go there.
Make college concrete, and less of a concept.
